BECOME AN ANGEL
Fall Recruitment: The first step towards becoming a Texas State Ice Angel is to attend an interest meeting. This is your opportunity to hear more about our organization directly from the girls involved! These meetings will be held in September each Fall semester.
It is a time to have any questions about the organization answered, before committing to an interview. You will also learn about our week of recruitment events which are very HIGHLY recommended, however not mandatory. At the interest meeting you will be given an opportunity to sign up for an interview.
The interview takes approximately 15-30 minutes, and are conducted by the executive officers. This is our opportunity to get to know you as a potential new member! **You will need to bring your class schedule as well as a
$20 non-refundable application fee to the interview. If you are unable to attend an interest meeting, but still have questions or want to schedule an interview, sending an e-mail is the most efficient way of reaching out. Within 24 hours, someone will get back to you. Following the completion of all interviews we will send out an email regarding our membership decisions.
Spring Recruitment: Spring being more of our off-season for hockey, the spring is centred around lacrosse. Our recruitment will consist of one recruitment event/home game, where you will get a chance to meet the girls and then after the event you will get an email about whether or not you've been selected.
The next time to apply to be apart of our organization will be Spring of 2021.
Requirements:
★Currently enrolled at Texas State University
★Minimum GPA of 2.5
★Able to pay dues each semester
★Attend most meetings and games
★Attend and participate in social events
★Basic knowledge of Ice Hockey (if none, willingness to learn)
